TPAT Walk/Run Team Walks for Breast Cancer

                The Oprah Winfrey Boys and Girls Club of Kosciusko/Attala County’s TPAT walk/run team participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Awareness Walk at the State Capitol Building in Jackson, MS on October 8, 2011. It was a great opportunity for the club and its members to share their support to the fight against Breast Cancer and continue to raise awareness of this terrible disease. The kids got the chance to see survivors as well as family members of those who lost their battles with the cancer. It was also a great opportunity for the members to see just how big the movement is and how important it is to continue the spreading of awareness for the disease. The members all said they were very happy to be a part of such an important cause and would definitely be willing to do it all over again! The TPAT walk/run team will be participating in many more walks/runs throughout the remainder of the school year.
